The need for change.

"As our Sanggunian continues to grow, we have seen how the necessity to establish different units for different advocacies emerged. In 2018, the first three commissions—Gender Equality, Anti-sexual Misconduct and Violence, and Mental Health—under the Department of Student Rights (DSR) of the Office of the President were formed. Just recently in this same administration, the Commission on Persons with Special Needs Inclusion (CPSNI) was also added in the department. In the Office of the Vice President, Divisions like Campus Sustainability, Transparency, Strategy and Development were also added. In brief, Sanggu’s structure adapts to the needs of the community it serves. "
